By the lake in Ólafsfjörður in FJALLABYGGD, NE Iceland, about 45 min. drive north from Akureyri ( 60 km ) and 15 min. from Dalvík (17 km) linked with a 3,5 km tunnel through the mount Múli. Another tunnel opening in 2010 over to Siglufjörður, part of FJALLABYGGD as well.

11 dbl rooms with private facilities and 8 dbl rooms in 4 cottages sharing facilities in each cottage. 4 big cottages, fully equipped with kitchen, TV, bathroom etc. A hot pot on the veranda of each of the 8 cottages.

The old episcopal see Holar in Hjaltadalur, The Icelandic Emigration Center in the little town of Hofsos, The Herring Museum in Siglufjordur, the western part of Fjallabyggd. To our east; The folkmuseum in Dalvik ( with Joi the giant ). The isle of Hrisey ( ferry from Arskogssandur ), The isle of Grimsey on the arctic circle ( ferry from Dalvik ). The old factory at Hjalteyri. Akureyri. Dettifoss waterfall. Mývatn.
